1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how Mangrove Digital Media("EstiClose," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the EstiClose service, including the website at esticlose.com, the estimator at estimator.esticlose.com, and any related applications (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

We collect three categories of information.

Information you give us directly. When you create an account or contact us we collect: your name, business name, email address, phone number, business address, billing information (processed by Stripe — we do not store full payment card data), and any photos, customer data, pricing, or notes you upload while using the Service.

Information generated by your use of the Service. We log how you interact with the Service: pages viewed, features used, estimates created, estimate links sent, booking events, device type, browser, operating system, approximate location derived from IP address, and timestamps.

Information about your customers. When a contractor uses EstiClose to generate an estimate for a homeowner, the homeowner's name, contact information, service address, before-photo, AI-generated after-photo, pricing, and booking activity flow through EstiClose. EstiClose acts as a service provider/processor for this data; the contractor is the controller.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Generate after-photo renders, branded estimate pages, and shareable links
  • Send transactional emails and SMS (estimate delivery, booking confirmations, payment receipts, password resets, security alerts)
  • Send service notices (downtime, plan changes, policy updates)
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Provide customer support
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Detect and address technical issues, abuse, and security incidents

4. SMS messaging and A2P 10DLC consent

Opt-in. When you provide a phone number through any EstiClose form or estimate flow, you are providing express consent to receive SMS messages from EstiClose related to the service requested.

Message types. EstiClose sends transactional SMS messages, including delivery of personalized estimate links, booking and appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, follow-up sequences (up to five messages over fourteen days), and service updates.

Frequency. You may receive up to fifteen (15) messages per month in connection with an active estimate or booking cycle.

Charges. Message and data rates may apply. EstiClose does not charge a fee for SMS messages; charges from your wireless carrier may apply.

Opt-out. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help. You can also email hello@esticlose.com.

We will not share consumer information, including phone numbers and SMS opt-in data, with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Consumer consent data is not shared with third parties.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — vendors that operate the Service on our behalf (payment processing, SMS delivery, hosting, email delivery, AI image generation, analytics). Each provider is contractually limited to using the information only to perform services for us.
  • Contractors using the Service — when a homeowner submits a quote request through a contractor's branded estimate page, the homeowner's information is delivered to that contractor.
  • Legal compliance — when required by law, subpoena, court order, or similar legal process.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. Cookies and tracking

EstiClose uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, measure how the Service is used, and prevent abuse. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the Service may not function correctly. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies on the EstiClose marketing site or estimator.

7. Data retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Generated after-photos and estimate records are retained for ninety (90) days by default; contractors can configure longer retention in account settings. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to opt out of marketing communications. To exercise any of these rights email hello@esticlose.com. We will respond within thirty (30) days. If you are a homeowner whose information was submitted by a contractor using EstiClose, please contact the contractor directly — they are the controller of your information.

9. Children's privacy

EstiClose is not intended for children under thirteen (13). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at hello@esticlose.com and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal information — encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest where applicable, access controls, and regular review of security practices. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International users

EstiClose is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S.

12. State privacy rights

If you are a resident of California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information. Contact us at hello@esticlose.com to exercise those rights.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice at least thirty (30) days before the change takes effect.
